Hi there ๐Ÿ‘‹

We all know that software engineering is a difficult path to tread. Imposter syndrome is one thing - but a similar, perhaps more difficult challenge to overcome is burnout.

โ˜„๏ธ Why it happens

There are 2 main reasons - the stress of the everyday routine and the self-inflicted burn - both leading to burnout.

We have all been there.

Software engineering and development is no easy task - sitting in front of screens for 8+ hours a day while we utilise the brain muscle to its peak performance capacity everyday is not an easy thing to do without feeling the pressure and stress of it.

โณ Do not binge-work!

Give yourself many breaks - the Pomodoro work technique can do wonders to your mental and physical well-being while handling demanding jobs.

Get up once every 45 minutes and walk around the room/office for at least 2 minutes and refresh your brain. Let your eyes watch something else for a change during this time and let your brain decompress from all the thinking.

๐Ÿง  After all, for us developers, the health of the brain and body is fundamental to perform better at work.
