These terms apply together with our Privacy Policy and our Cancellation and Refunds Policy. Where a signed statement of work or proposal covers a consulting engagement, that document takes precedence over these terms for that engagement.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to buy from us. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us and for keeping your account credentials secure. 3. What we provide
We provide digital learning content, subscriptions to that content, and consulting and engineering services. Details of what is included, and the price, are shown on the relevant page or checkout screen at the time you buy.
4. Subscriptions and renewals
- A subscription starts once your payment is authorised and gives you access for the billing period shown at checkout.
- Where a subscription is set up to renew automatically, it renews at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel it.
- For automatically renewing subscriptions, your payment method is charged through our payment gateway on each renewal date. You authorise these recurring charges when you set up the subscription.
- You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account or by writing to bitfumes@gmail.com. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it or suspend access until payment succeeds.
5. Pricing, payments and taxes
- Prices are shown on the relevant page in the currency stated there, and are payable in full at the time of purchase unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Payments are processed by third-party payment gateways. We do not store your full card or bank details; those are handled by the gateway under its own terms and security standards.
- Applicable taxes are charged in addition to the listed price where the law requires, and are shown before you confirm payment.
- We may change our prices at any time. A price change does not affect a billing period you have already paid for; for renewing subscriptions the new price applies from the next renewal.
- You are responsible for any bank, currency conversion or intermediary charges levied by your own provider.
6. Promotional offers and discounts
From time to time we run promotional offers, discount codes and introductory prices on our subscriptions. Unless the offer itself clearly says otherwise, the following applies to every such offer:
- The offer is valid only for the period, plans and payment methods stated where the offer is displayed.
- A discount applies for the number of billing cycles stated where the offer is displayed — the first billing period only, unless the offer says otherwise. Once the discounted cycles are used up, the subscription renews at the standard price in force at that time.
- Offers cannot be combined with any other offer, discount or coupon on the same purchase.
- Offers have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash or credit, and cannot be transferred or resold.
- An offer applies only to purchases made while it is live. We cannot apply it retrospectively to an earlier purchase.
- One offer or discount code may be used per customer or account unless the offer states otherwise.
- We may withdraw, shorten or amend an offer at any time before you complete a purchase, and we may cancel a discounted order where an offer has been misused, obtained through error, or used fraudulently.
- Cancellations and refunds on discounted purchases follow our Cancellation and Refunds Policy; any refund is limited to the amount you actually paid.
7. Cancellation and refunds
Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation and Refunds Policy at bitfumes.com/refund, which forms part of these terms. Because we supply digital goods and services, refunds are limited; please read that policy before you buy. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.
8. Acceptable use
Your access to paid content is personal to you. You must not share your account, use our services unlawfully, attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or interfere with the operation of the website. We may suspend or terminate access, without refund, where these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached.
9. Cookies
We employ the use of cookies. By accessing Bitfumes, you agree to use cookies in agreement with our Privacy Policy. Most interactive websites use cookies to retrieve the user's details for each visit and to enable the functionality of certain areas of the site.
