AI is here and it’s here to stay. That is the truth of the decade, and there’s no going around it.
Devin - The First AI Software Engineer - apparently autonomous and “tireless” as its founders call it; is it taking away your job?
Time to start an alternate way of earning?
Probably yes.
BUT
Devin is not the Devil
There’s still hope.
Not all is lost.
Devin and its counterparts are simply taking away the utterly monotonous and repetitive jobs and not the jobs where our human creative brains are used and needed.

👽 Start adopting AI
Do not reject it. It is simply an advanced computing system that still needs human intervention. The secret is to utilise AI in parallel with your skills and job. USE it to enhance your day-to-day productivity.
AI agents like Sora and Devin are still lightyears behind in gaining full proficiency for software development. Cognition AI, the creator of Devin, admits that it could only solve 1 out of 7 GitHub issues in tests conducted.
Now that’s very reassuring.
💯 Upskilling is the way
We cannot get lazy. Constant learning is the only way to ensure the so-called “job security” in software development domain.
