What it is
AudioBolo is push-to-talk dictation for the Mac, built on a local AI model: Whisper runs on the machine itself, so speech becomes text on-device and keeps working offline. Press a hotkey, speak, and formatted text appears in whichever app has focus. What sets it apart is context. It reads the interface of the active app (open tabs, files in the sidebar, URLs), so names and jargon come out right first time. In VS Code, Cursor or Xcode it formats dictation as code and turns spoken filenames into @file references for AI coding tools.
