What it is
AudioBolo is push-to-talk dictation for the Mac: press a hotkey, speak, and formatted text appears in whichever app has focus. What sets it apart is context. It reads the interface of the active app — open tabs, files in the sidebar, URLs — so names and jargon come out right first time. In VS Code, Cursor or Xcode it formats dictation as code and turns spoken filenames into @file references for AI coding tools.
What it does
- Screen context awareness for more accurate transcripts
- Learns names, jargon and spellings from your corrections
- @filename tagging for Cursor and other AI coding tools
- Custom modes that turn raw speech into posts, emails or meeting notes
- 50+ voice commands and automatic filler-word removal
- On-device Whisper models for offline use
