What it is
Backstage Cut is a Premiere Pro panel for creator editors cutting YouTube videos, podcasts, Shorts, Reels and TikToks. It transcribes the sequence once, then uses that transcript to drive the repetitive work: captions, punch-in zooms, B-roll placement, silence and filler cuts, and chapter markers. Everything lands as standard Premiere clips and keyframes, so editors can adjust any of it by hand, and the footage stays on their own machine.
