It can be, with the right design: least-privilege access, per-user permissions, logging and human approval for actions that change data.
Which AI tools does it work with?
MCP is supported by Claude and a growing number of other AI apps and developer tools.
Do we need to change our systems?
No. MCP servers sit in front of your existing systems and use their APIs or databases.
Can the AI make changes, or only read?
Either. We usually start read-only and add actions with human approval once the team is comfortable.
